Maryann Snowden Eardley, 68, of Pompton Plains, New Jersey passed away on August 5, 2017. She was born on January 29, 1949 in Jersey City, New Jersey to Gilbert and Ann Snowden.
Maryann lived a life full of energy, love, and happiness. She was a devoted wife and mother and could not do enough for her family and friends. A natural leader, her truly kind spirit and willingness to help often lifted those around her. Maryann loved her career in business, at which she excelled immensely, and her passions included cooking, gardening, and entertaining. True to her compassionate nature, she also had great love for animals of all kinds.
Maryann was the heart of her family, and embodied her favorite expression "where there's a will there's a way." She will be missed beyond the expression of words.
Maryann is survived by her husband of 46 years, Thomas J. Eardley, and her son, Timothy P. Eardley. She was predeceased by her brother, Gilbert.
Family will receive visitors from 4-8 pm on Friday, August 11 at the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 1:30 pm on Saturday at Our Lady of Good Counsel RC Church, Pompton Plains.
