Victoria Drozjock, age 94, died peacefully in Toms River, New Jersey on Wednesday, September 29th, 2021. Vicki was born on July 17, 1927 in Paterson, New Jersey.
Growing up in Paterson, she was the daughter of the late Eva and Isadore Drozjock, who owned a prosperous Food Market. The middle of six children, Victoria grew up with strong values and a loving commitment to her family.
After graduating from Central High School in Paterson, she attended business school and worked at Grand Union Company as Supervisor of Produce Accounts Payable Office, until she retired receiving noteworthy awards. Vicki was an accomplished sewer designing and making her own clothing throughout her life, as well as creations for her nieces and nephews. Vicki’s adventurous spirit led her to be an avid world traveler. She enjoyed bowling and golf. She was an accomplished artist in her own right keeping a family tradition alive at Easter,
Decorating with wax, Russian Easter Eggs. She shared art secrets with our families which we cherish every Easter. Vicki was a lifelong auxiliary member of the Eastern Rite Catholic Church, Sacred Heart. Vicki was thought of as a unique, skilled and creative Aunt who was loved dearly by all her family and friends.
Vicki is survived by her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother John Drozjock, her sister Helen Barbary, her brother Thomas Drozjock, her sister Doris Shagawat and her sister Bessie Drozjock.
Visiting hours will be held from 2 till 6 pm Sunday, October 3rd at the M. John Scanlan Funeral home in Pompton Plains. A funeral Mass will be held 10 am Monday, October 4th at Sacred Heart Church, Little Falls. Internment will follow at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Paterson. Masks are required at the funeral home.
