Very sad to hear of the passing of Kathy! So glad we got see Kathy at the 50th class reunion! Great to share memories of the fun times our families had at the Scanlan's summer cottage on Lake Hopatcong. Many good memories remain of Kathy being a positive, fun and good spirited person. Kathy and I started our first jobs together at the Hartford Insurance Group in Newark. We became fast bus friends, departing from Pequannock, having breakfast together every weekday before getting on the elevator to start our work day. She was a lovely girl, so in love and excited to plan her wedding. As happens, our lives diverted after both marrying and having children, but I've never forgotten her.
