Obituary of Patricia Donza

Patricia M. Donza, 70, of Stockholm, formerly of Pompton Plains, passed away on September 22, 2021.

Born in Brooklyn, Patricia was the daughter of the late Vincent and Mildred DeNoia.  She married Robert Donza in 1971 and the couple lived in Brooklyn to start their family.  Patricia graduated from Kingsborough College and practiced Nursing for many years. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Disney World. Patricia also liked to read, as well as watch classic TV shows and movies.  Patricia loved animals, especially dogs, but above all else, she adored her grandchildren.

Particia is lovingly survived by her husband, Robert; her sons, Rob and his wife Debra, David and his wife Robin, Daniel and his wife Lori, and Matthew and his wife Kerry; her brother, Harry DeNoia and his wife Alice; and her grandchildren, David, Sophia, Jacob, Olivia, Madeline, Joshua, and Julia.  She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Robert DeNoia.

Visiting hours will be held from 3 to 7 pm Sunday, September 26 at the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains.  A funeral Mass will be held 10:30 am Monday at St. John Vianney RC Church, Stockholm.  Interment will follow at the Northern NJ Veterans Cemetery, Sparta.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Patricia's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the ASPCA would be greatly appreciated by her family.
