Robert Gorun, of Bloomingdale, New Jersey suddenly passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022.

Born on November 25, 1966 in Clifton, Bob was the son of Robert Gorun Sr. and Diane Gorun. Graduating from Clifton High School in 1984, he went on to earn his Bachelor's Degree from Johnson & Wales University.

Marrying Kathleen Weaver in 1993, the couple settled in Bloomingdale, raising a daughter, Abigail.

Bob enjoyed singing in his choir and cooking for his friends and family. He’s known for his sense of humor and beautiful platters of food he brought to any event. He also enjoyed watching Maryland football games, where his daughter graduated from and now works for. Bob was the definition of a family man. He cared for his family, friends, and all the people around him. Bob was the life of the party and lit up every room he walked into.

Bob will be missed dearly by his beautiful daughter Abby, his loving wife Kathy, and by his many friends that adored him. He is also survived by his mother, Diane Gorun; his sister, Nancy Mehlig and her husband Erwin; his nephews, Andrew, Nicholas and Kevin; his niece, Jennifer; and his father-in-law, Mike Weaver.
