He became the “nose” for Avon and then for fragrance houses when he established his own company. Ed travelled the world seeking scents to be used in creating perfumes for women including movie stars. His fragrances continue to be used worldwide.
Ed loved animals and supported various animal shelters. He was a major benefactor to the New York Philharmonic and the Metropolitan Opera where he performed as a character actor for 10 seasons. He supported the Revelers, a Community theater in New Jersey, where he produced and acted in numerous productions.
Ed was a good and decent man who developed his talents and shared his friendship with all who knew him.
