C. Bruce Roff, 90, of Riverdale, passed away February 25, 2022.
“Bruce” was born in his home and raised in Butler, NJ. He attended Butler High School and also worked in the Rubber Mill in Butler before serving in the US Army. He met the love of his life Lucy. They married October 25, 1952 and settled in Riverdale, where they also raised their family. Once Bruce was out of the Army, he worked at PSE&G up until retirement.
Bruce was an avid fisherman, he loved all places to fish whether it was fresh water or the ocean. When he was able, was a hunter as well. He was a man to keep busy, you could always see him working and manicuring his yard. In his free time, he enjoyed watching NASCAR and football, especially the NY Giants.
Bruce was a true family man. His life was his wife and children. He worked hard throughout his life to make sure he provided for his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and dear friend.
Bruce is survived by his loving wife Lucy; his three children Linda Gaudio and her husband Vinnie, Bruce Roff and his wife Madeline, Donna Harper and her husband Chris; he was also survived by his 6 grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren.
Services will be held privately for the family. Arrangements are made through M. John Scanlan Funeral Home of Pompton Plains.
