Obituary of Deborah A Kohle
Deborah A Kohle, 64, life-long resident of Pequannock Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on April 30 at her home after a brief illness.
Deb graduated from Pequannock Township High School in 1976 and Berkeley Secretarial School in 1977.
Deb worked at Shop-Rite in Lincoln Park, NJ, Foodtown in Pequannock, NJ and Lincoln Center Liquors in Lincoln Park, NJ for many years. Afterward, she worked as an Account Manager for The Coca Cola Company in Carlstadt, NJ. Currently, she was employed by National Fleet Parts, Inc in Towaco, NJ.
Deb was predeceased by her mother, Darlene and her brother Jim. Deb is survived by her brother Robert Kohle and his wife, Deborah, of Crossville, Tennessee; her brother Thomas Kohle and his wife Peg of Barre, VT,; her brother David Kohle and his wife Angela, of Pequannock, NJ; her sister Patricia Kohle of Downingtown, PA; her nieces Amanda Arnold and her husband Cam, of Barre, VT and Katie Moyer and her husband Logan, of Huntsville, TX; her nephews Kurt Kohle and his wife Kayla of Cumberland, RI, Thomas Kohle (TJ), of Barre, VT, Joseph Kohle of Hoboken, NJ, Benjamin Kohle of Pequannock, NJ, Wyatt and Owen Kohle of West Milford, NJ, her Aunt Sharon Rakshys and her husband Ed of Sussex, NJ, her great nephews Will Moyer and Landon Arnold, and her great niece Vivienne Kohle, her beloved dog Mollie, many cousins.
Debbie was an extremely hard worker, often holding down many jobs at once. She was a proud home-owner and enjoyed spending time outside planting in her garden and loved sitting by her pool in the summer. She also enjoyed cooking and making her family members their favorite dishes. As her friends and family know, Debbie was extremely kind and generous and would do anything for anybody; but, proudly independent, she rarely asked for help from anyone else.
Debbie’s life will be celebrated at the First Reformed Church of Pompton Plains, 529 Newark-Pompton Tpke, Pompton Plains, NJ on Saturday, May 14 at 11:00am. A brief cemetery service will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Debbie’s name may be made to the Boys & Girls Club of Northwest New Jersey, 19 Oak Ave., Pequannock, NJ 07440.
