Obituary of Vince Miraglia

Vincenzo “Vince” Miraglia, 44, passed away June 7, 2022.

Vince was born to Antonio and Maria Miraglia in Paterson, NJ. They raised Vince with his brother in West Milford, NJ. After high school, he enlisted into the Marine Corps. Once leaving, he went on to become a Mortgage Loan Assistant for US Bank. For about 10 years, Vince was a proud volunteer Firefighter with West Milford.

Vince’s favorite place to be was the beach. He especially enjoyed his trips to Long Beach Island, NJ with friends, but especially with his family. He was an avid hunter, he trailed deer throughout NJ and some parts in Canada. Vince had a love for the culinary arts, he made his own homemade sausage and for a while, was the chef of the household. His love of being outdoors, brought him to gardening. He enjoyed planting flowers and vegetables. He had a deep interest in arranging flowers and landscaping, his appreciation for a well-kept yard made his own yard appealing to other neighbors.  

Vince was a loving son, father, brother and friend. He was a family man that would do anything for his children and his family and friends. He fought a long difficult battle with cancer, but leaves behind cherished memories.

Vince is survived by his devoted wife Mary; his children Isabel, Adam and Ian; his mother Maria; his brother Phil and his wife Krystal; he leaves behind his beloved nieces and nephews, many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters in law. Vince is predeceased by his father Antonio (2019). 

Visitation will be held Monday June 13, 2022 from 4-8pm. A Funeral Mass will be held in his honor at St. Francis of Assisi RC Church in Haskell, NJ at 11am on Tuesday June 14, 2022. Cremation is held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Memorial Sloan Kettering.
