Obituary of David J. MacDonald

David MacDonald, 60, of Kinnelon, passed away on June 20, 2022.

Born in Norwood, MA, David graduated from Franklin High School.  He married Elizabeth "Betty" Froehlich in 1986 and the couple settled in the Fayson Lakes section of Kinnelon shortly after.  Before retiring 5 years ago, Dave spent 34 years working in IT at ADP/Broadridge Financial.  David was a big Star Trek and Sci-Fi fan, enjoyed cooking and bartending at holiday and family gatherings, and sharing his passion for good food and wine. He was an avid golfer and chess player but especially loved traveling all over the world.  David visited every continent with the exception of Australia, a trip he had planned for next year.

David is lovingly survived by his wife of 36 years, Betty; his children, Kristen and Thomas; his parents, James and Eda; his sister, Sandy Belskis; and his brother, John.

Visiting hours will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, June 23.  In lieu of flowers, the MacDonald Family kindly suggests that a contribution be made to The Fayson Lakes Association in memory of Dave MacDonald.
