Obituary of Anna B. Fynes

Anna B. Fynes, 88, died Sunday, June 26, 2022 at the Chelsea Assisted Living Care Center in Montville. 

Born in Philadelphia, Anna was one of four children born to Thomas and Anna Boyle. Anna graduated from Little Flower High School for Girls, in Philadelphia, PA. She was formerly married to James Fynes and they settled in Pequannock, New Jersey where they raised their three daughters. 

Anna was blessed with six grandchildren and a great-grandchild, and was absolutely wonderful to them. She never forgot a birthday, or any other special occasion. She loved to be around her family. She was very sweet, very funny, and very loved. 

Anna is survived by her daughters, Kathy Ronan, Peggy Douglas and her husband Rob, Nancy Jachera and her husband Bob; as well as her six grandchildren: Robbie, Carly, Matthew, Daniel, David and Jessica; and her great-grandchild, Cameron. 

A brief gathering will be held at 12:30pm on Thursday, June 30, 2022, to offer condolences to the family at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Pompton Plains. Immediately following will be the funeral Mass at 1:00pm. Burial of the cremains will follow the Mass at the First Reformed Cemetery, Pompton Plains.
