Obituary of ROBERT J SIEMINSKI

Robert “Bob” Joseph Sieminski, 71 of Wayne, NJ passed away from natural causes.

Born April 17, 1951, Bob grew up in Jersey City, NJ, and attended Saint Michael’s High School in Union City, NJ. He then earned a bachelor's degree at Saint Peter’s College and later graduated with an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. When he retired, he was VP of Information Technology at Cornwell Systems; involved in the early days of computer science, he spent most of his career in the direct marketing field. He was an avid hobbyist, enjoying woodworking, photography, and stained glass, as well as collecting antiques of all kinds. Bob always knew the best places to find a good deal and a great meal. He always had a wry sense of humor that helped to keep you entertained and on your toes.

From his marriage to Eileen Sieminski (nee McCloskey), he leaves behind four daughters, Jill Pecora and her husband Joseph Pecora Jr., Laurie Sieminski and her fiancé Chuck Jammal, Amy Buchney and her husband Michael Buchney, and Kate Lukens and her husband Peter Lukens and their seven grandchildren (Ava, Alexa, Ashlyn, Lilyanne, Violet, Owen and Rosemary); Bob also leaves behind his brother Richard Sieminski and his wife, Eva Sieminski, and his sister Maryellen Farrelly and her husband, John Farrelly. He is predeceased by his brother Peter Jr. and his parents, Peter and Helen Sieminski of Jersey City, NJ.

A Memorial Visitation will be held Friday July 22, 2022 from 4-6:30 at M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains. A Memorial Service in Bob's honor will follow at 6:30. Cremation is held privately.
