Amy Glover Squire passed away quietly on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at Cedar Crest Senior Living Community at the age of 90.
Amy earned her bachelor's degree in Home Economics and loved in her spare time knitting, sewing, and crocheting. She was a Girl Scout and then leader for many years. Amy was a faithful and devoted parishioner serving on the altar guild and many other areas within the Episcopal churches she belonged to throughout her life. She belonged to the Republican Women's club. She was a devoted employee of Wecht's Army and Navy store for many years and Food Enterprises from where she retired.
Amy is predeceased by her parents, Elizabeth & Henry Glover and brother, Henry. Amy is remembered by her four daughters and their husbands, Kathleen and Glen Van Der Sluys, Patricia & Lawton Squire, Helen Squire and Constance Squire & Roy Van Der Sluys and her grandchildren, Kim, Scott, Michael, Dalton, and Garrett and two great grandchildren, Joseph, and Archer.
To respect Amy's wishes she will be cremated with a family service later to be decided. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association
