

Obituary of Mary Alice Bond
Mary Alice Bond passed away in her residence in Manchester, NJ. She was 89.
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Mary grew up in Upper Darby, PA and lived in Fair Lawn, New Jersey before settling in Pompton Plains, NJ in 1957 with her dear husband, Herbert William “Bill” Bond. She has been a resident of Manchester, NJ since 2000. Mary worked briefly in NYC before devoting her time and passion into raising her family of four. Many years later, Mary continued her career as an office manager for the Law Firm of Orloff, Lowenbach, Stifelman and Siegel in Roseland, New Jersey. Mary loved cooking and baking for her family and friends and was an avid book reader. She enjoyed traveling with her family, especially their trips to Europe and the United Kingdom.
Mary is predeceased by her husband, Bill (1984). She is survived by her four children, Deborah Miller (Thomas), William “Bill” Bond (Barbara), Lynda Wishard (Ronald) and Karen Bond; her dear brother, Frederick Wendell Ulmer (Sue); and her seven loving grandchildren, Andrew Miller (Annie), Sarah Steward (Gregory), Amanda and Corey Bond, Kelly Flynn (Travis), Nicole Wishard and Lauryn Bond. Mary is also survived by her five cherished great-grandchildren, Theodore, Maryann and Eve Miller, and Zuri and Quinn Steward.
A graveside service will be held in the First Reformed Church Cemetery, 529 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Pompton Plains, NJ on Friday, December 23 at 12 noon.
