Obituary of Joseph Steven Schnorr

Joseph Steven Schnorr passed away on December 13, 2022. Joe was born in Englewood, NJ and grew up in Wanaque, NJ. He was free-spirited and had zest for life. He was a believer and is riding on God’s highway.

Joey enjoyed being outdoors, was a hard worker, and could fix anything. As a young man he drove cross-country. He spent about 30 years working for Blue Circle Materials in Riverdale, NJ where he was a member of Teamsters Union Local #560. He also worked for Young Asphalt Paving Materials in West Milford, NJ.

Joe enjoyed playing pool, water/snow skiing, swimming, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles, his boat on Greenwood Lake, loved trucks, NASCAR, the New York Giants and the New York Yankees!

Joey was predeceased by his parents George and Anna Louise Schnorr, and sister Kathleen Schnorr. He is survived by his wife Kathleen Dell’Arena Schnorr, daughter Kayleen Schnorr, siblings George Schnorr and his wife Peggy, Robert (Quince) Schnorr, Fran Thompson, Mary De Leonardis and her husband Ian.

A memorial service will be held at Scanlan Funeral Home in Pompton Plains, NJ on Sat. May 20th 4PM-7PM with a prayer service at 6 PM. Motorcycles are welcome! Donations: Christopher Reeve Foundation @ https://www.christopherreeve.org/ American Heart Association @ https://www.heart.org/
