Some of my fondest memories of Rodger are going to West Point football games, spending several years of dinners after the tree lighting, and his laughter while watching the girls in the pool.
But the event that truly represents Rodger, was the year he and Sue shoveled out my car in the Lincoln Park train station, as I was coming home from Hoboken, and then shoveled out the end of my driveway so I could pull in. I was truly overcome by their caring.
My prayer is for his family to keep all the memories close in their hearts.
