Lynne Worden, 85, of Oak Ridge, passed away peacefully at home on February 13, 2023 after a long illness. Lynne was born and raised in Wayne, NJ and married David Worden in 1961. The couple enjoyed 61 wonderful years of marriage.
Lynne worked in the banking world first as a teller for First National Bank in Paterson, NJ and moved up through the ranks as the bank changed names. Her final years were at PNC as a trainer.
Lynne loved to cook and bake. She especially enjoyed making cakes for those special people in her life. She also enjoyed nature, whether it was keeping a garden or later in life watching the birds in her backyard and taking pictures.
Lynne was a member of The Chapel in Lincoln Park for most of her adult life giving of her time in different ways through the years.
Lynne is survived by her husband David, her Brother in law and wife, Jim and Lynne Worden, Colorado, her brother in law Len Van Orden, of Pennsylvania, 10 nieces and nephews, 25 great nieces and nephews and 2 great great nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her parents John and Elva Becker and her in-laws James and Elva Worden and her sister Carole Van Orden. If you met her she would take the time to tell you something special about each of them.
