Lainie, Lisa, Joe and the entire family, please accept my sincere and heartfelt condolences. I will never forget the first time I met Edie. I was 14, and she told me I was too skinny! She commenced to feeding me, and she never stopped! I will never forget her hospitality and friendship. Cowbells will never be the same!

Q: How would you describe Edith to someone who had never met them?
A: Edith ( Eddie) was my oldest sister. She was the smartest of us kid. I her bother take exception to that, but when Eddie and I butted heads our sister Linda would intervene. Linda was the arbitrator in the family. No matter, the three of us loved each other dearly. When my both sister went to secretary school , the times were different it was very unusual for girls to get higher education. Both my parents being immergrant pushed for higher education. They graduated and worked in Manhattan for competing advertising agencies. This led to some interesting discussion at the dinner table. Our parents taught us that family was the most important thing in life.
I will miss my oldest sister dearly.
Love her bother
Chuck
