Frank J. Kasper, 85, of Pequannock, formerly of Clifton, died Wednesday, August 22, 2007 in Pompton Plains. Born in Paterson, Frank was the son of the late John and Anna (nee Marselek) Kasper. Graduating from East Side High School in Paterson, he went on to serve in the Army during World War II before marrying Sally Stachelek and settling in Clifton. To support his family, Frank worked as a Machinist for Curtis Wright in Wood-Ridge until retiring in 1988. He was a former parishioner of St. Pauls R.C. Church in Clifton, and also a former Committeeman for the Republican Party there, before he and Sally moved to Pequannock Township in 1996. Frank is survived by his wife, Sally; his daughter, Karen and her husband, Dr. Paul Palmorozzo; his step-son, Richard Less; his step-daughter, Linda Segnello; his sister, Rose Kautz; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Matthew and Kaitlyn Palmorozzo. He was predeceased by his brothers, Joseph and Edward, and his sisters, Bertha and Frances. Funeral services will begin 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, and will proceed to a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Magnificat R.C. Church in Kinnelon. Burial will follow in the churchs cemetery. Visiting hours will be Friday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
