Frank Quinn, age 76, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ.
He was born August 1, 1942 to Mary (Alway) Quinn and Frank Quinn in Paterson, NJ. He was raised by his mother and two strict Irish Aunts, Marie and Teresa, whom he adored. He attended St Mary’s and was a graduate of Pompton Lakes High School. After serving as a helicopter mechanic in the Marine Corp in 1962-1963, he worked as a plumber for Hoffman La Roche and a machinist for several companies afterward. Frank had a love for how things worked, and you could usually find him tinkering with something mechanical or just spending time with his beloved wife Marge. Through many trials and tribulations in his life, Frank always had a gritty way of surviving and pushing on, which will be one of his lasting testaments to those who loved him.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years Margaret (Pilaar) Quinn, his loving sister Noreen (Quinn) Davidson of York, ME and brother Thomas Quinn of Newport News, VA, his sons Michael, Neil, George, Brian, John and Eric, and his grandchildren: Adam, Megan, Kelly, Kyle, Evan, Brendan, David, Brian, Christina, Lauren, Kelly, Sophie, Sarah and John. He is predeceased by his brothers John and Pat. A private memorial service will be held by the family at a future date. Frank will always be held lovingly in our hearts.
