Obituary of CJ Kimble
CJ Kimble, 27, formerly of Butler & Kinnelon, died on October 30, 2019.
CJ grew up in Kinnelon and was the son of Chris and Stephanie Kimble. His childhood was spent playing football with the Butler Bulldogs, playing basketball and baseball with his sister Jessi in the yard, and visiting the Jersey shore's best attractions, including Six Flags and AC. After his dad passed away when he was young, CJ and his family moved to Milford, PA in 2008. He had a close relationship with his mom but sadly she passed away when he was 18 years old. Through the heartbreak, CJ and his sister formed an unbreakable bond. The two were more than siblings, they were truly best friends.
CJ was a huge Raiders fan and recently went to his first Colts vs Raiders game at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. He loved spending time with his family and especially enjoyed the Christmas season. Every year, he and Jessi would decorate their mom's tree and reminisce about the wonderful times they spent together with her.
CJ was outgoing and energetic. He could bring a smile to your face and make you laugh in your darkest moment. He had a vast knowledge of cars, especially hot rods, and enjoyed fixing and detailing them.
CJ is survived by his sister, Jessi; his grandparents, John and Jean Denaro; his aunt, Yvonne Denaro; his uncles, John Denaro and his wife Caroline, James Denaro and his wife Andrea, and George Kimble; and many cousins.
Visiting hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Friday, November 8 at the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains. A funeral service will be held during the visitation at 8 pm. Interment will be held 10 am Saturday at Mount Rest Cemetery, Butler.
