Obituary of Vincent Pasquino

Vincent Pasquino, 58, of Pompton Plains, passed away on June 28, 2020.

Born in Hackensack and raised in Moonachie, Vincent was the son of Vincent B. and Linda Pasquino. He received his degree from DeVry University and was currently employed by Dell as a systems engineer.  Vincent married Dianne Mendolia on May 7, 1988 and later settled in Pompton Plains to raise their children, Angelo and Nicole.

Angelo and Nicole were the center of Vincent’s world as he dedicated himself to ensuring they were equipped with the knowledge and tools to create a successful and fulfilling life for themselves.  He was their #1 fan, always present at their soccer games/practices and something they would continue to bond over during adulthood.

Vincent had a variety of interests and talents, most of them relating to music and the arts. He regularly attended the annual “Burning Man Festival” and even brought his children along. He was a drummer in the Royal Brigade Drum and Bugle Corps. In recent years, Vincent began a spiritual journey that led him to find solace in meditation and mindfulness.  No matter the activity or interest, Vincent always gave 100%.

Vincent is survived by his wife, Dianne (nee Mendolia); his mother, Linda; his children, Angelo and Nicole; his brother in-law, Salvatore Mendolia and wife Maria; and his sister in-law, Loraine Mendolia.  He was predeceased by his father, Vincent B. Pasquino.

Friends and family may visit from 2-4 & 7-9 pm on Wednesday, July 1 at the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains.  A graveside service will be held 11 am on Thursday at the First Reformed Church Cemetery, Pompton Plains.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Vincent’s memory can be made to Applachian Trail Conservancy or American Heart Association.
